COMBATING SKIN-LIGHTENING PRACTICES AND CHEMICAL EXPOSURES
In this initiative we will conduct culturally responsive health education forums and workshops that focuses on teaching and tips on ways to end skin-lightening practices, the health effects of mercury and other chemicals in these products.
Training health care providers, home visiting public health nurses and public health practitioners on the skin-lightening practices and chemical exposures among refugee/immigrant women and girls, effective ways to communicate with their patients/clients.
