On the first episode of the Lived Experience of Colorism, Amira Adawe interviewed four young Somali-Americans who discussed about their experience of colorism within culture and outside of their culture, and their volunteering and activism work during the 2020 USA Presidential election. These four young Somali-American women are also in the Young Women’s Wellness and Leadership Initiative (YWWLI) cohort.
